2.       Transmission Fundamentals (Signals, Analog and Digital Data Transmission, Channel Capacity, Transmission Media,  Signal Strength and Decibels)

3.       Antennas and Propagation (Antennas, Propagation Modes, Line of Sight Transmission, Fading in the Mobile Environment)

4.       Modulation and Spread Spectrum (Signal Encoding Techniques, Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum, Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum)

5.       Medium Access (TDMA, FDMA, CDMA)

6.       Satellites Systems (GEO, LEO, MEO Satellites, Routing, Capacity Allocation)

7.       Cellular Systems (Basics - Cell reuse, spectrum, sectoring, etc.-, 1G AMPS,  2G GSM, UMTS and IMT2000)

8.       Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi and IEEE 802.11)

9.       Bluetooth and IEEE 802.15 (WPAN, Zigbee, etc.) 

10.   Mobile IP

11.   Mobile TCP

12.   Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks
