Assoc. Prof. Arzucan Özgür has received the prestigious ERC-2022-CoG (European Research Council Consolidator Grant) grant the under the Horizon Europe Programme with the project titled:
LifeLU: Understanding the Language of Life: Identifying and Characterizing the Language Units in Protein Sequences
In this project Assoc. Prof. Arzucan ÖZGÜR and her team will focus on developing a basis understanding of the language of life with innovative methods to identify the smallest units of information in proteins and to determine their meaning (functions). The budget of this project is 2 Million €.
