D3A is a patent-pending evaluation index developed by the Boğaziçi University Industry 4.0 platform and funded by the Istanbul Development Agency, which aims to determine the maturity level of small and medium scale enterprises for digital transformation. Prof. Lale Akarun has presented D3A to the stakeholders of the Boğaziçi University Industry 4.0 Platform. D3A is the outcome of a project that has started in 2018, it helps to evaluate the firms as well as to identify the next steps to reach higher levels of digital transformation.
The members of the project who developed D3A are Prof. Lale Akarun (CMPE) who is the president of the Boğaziçi University Industry 4.0 platform, Prof. Tuna Tuğcu (CMPE) and Asst. Prof. F. Başak Aydemir (CMPE), Prof. Ümit Bilge (IE), Prof. Necati Aras (IE), and Prof. Aslı Sencer (MIS). The project is coordinated by Cemre Selcen and supported by the researcher Sedanur Yılmaz.
