The collaboration of the universities with the industry as well as the quality of education is a key indicator of the qualifications of a higher education institution. A new TÜBİTAK-2244 Industry Doctorate Program is starting under the coordination of Computer Engineering faculty members Tuna Tuğcu, Cem Ersoy, and Birkan Yılmaz. Three PhD students from Computer Engineering will pursue research to develop "Private Industrial 5G Networks" in collaboration with Siemens AG, one of the world's leading technology companies. The program with a budget of approximately 1,300,000 TL will continue for "4 + 3" years.
